How: Write and submit a short essay on the book that most changed or helped your career path.

Rules: Essay should be no longer than 1,000 words and must be the author’s own original work. If selected, author must agree to AFJ editing and publishing the work. Essays will be edited for house style, clarity and fit. All editor decisions are final. Only one entry per person permitted; all submissions must supply full name, title, mailing address, e-mail address and daytime telephone number.

Closing date for submissions: Sept. 26 2008.
