Default No honor in politics

TO PRESIDENT BUSH, for mixing politics with military honor. Bush presented a posthumous Medal of Honor in a White House ceremony on the same day that Congress was getting its latest Iraq report from Army Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker. That Master-At-Arms 2nd Class (SEAL) Michael Monsoor, who was killed when he threw himself on a grenade to save his shipmates during fighting in Iraq, was a hero utterly deserving of the nation’s highest military honor is beyond question. What is questionable is any hint of leaders trying to reap political gain from such an act of valor. This ceremony deserved a day of its own.

How disrespectful.

I mean he gave up GOLF in solidarity with those who gave up their lives. Do you know how important golf is in his circle?

Sheesh! Give the man the respect his horrendous sacrifice calls for, willya!
